This comedy tells the story of Marc Pease, a grown man living life vicariously through recollections of youthful glory. Ten years out of high school, he's a man still living in the past, when he starred in his high school's musicals. Over the course of one day, events come to a head. While watching from the sidelines as his former teacher/mentor Mr. Gribble oversees the opening night of another show, Pease has an epiphany. Through a cathartic, hilarious process, he finally exorcises his demons and realizes there's more to life than the roar of the greasepaint and smell of the crowd that is Broadway. Over the course of the film, a young high school senior girl becomes romantically involved with both of the men. This only serves to complicate matters.

Superman/Batman:Public Enemies 2009

LexCorp's CEO Lex Luthor has been elected President of United States during a severe nation-wide economic depression. Under his leadership, the country is returned to its former glory and a force of superheroes consisting of Captain Atom, Starfire, Katana, Black Lightning, Power Girl, and Major Force now work for the betterment of America. His aim is to employ every superhero to work for their country, but secretly, this is so they will not work against him. Meanwhile, Superman and Batman are still fighting crime on their own.

Lex discovers that a Kryptonite meteor the size of a small country is hurtling towards Earth, and decides to destroy it with missiles rather than use the country's superhero assets, as he wants the credit for himself. He arranges a meeting with Superman under the pretense of working together to stop the meteor, but brings Metallo, disguised as a Special Agent, to the meeting. A battle ensues, which seems to be in Metallo's favor until Batman comes to help, evacuating Superman from the premises. Following their escape, Metallo is killed by an unknown assailant. Later that night, Lex pins Metallo's murder on Superman, using footage of their battle to implicate him. Lex claims that the Kryptonite radiation being emitted by the meteor is affecting Superman's judgment, and places $1 billion bounty on Superman's head.

Batman and Superman investigate the death of Metallo, discovering that intense radiation killed him. They are then attacked by an army of villains looking to collect on the bounty (Silver Banshee, Captain Cold, Icicle, Killer Frost, Mr. Freeze, Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Black Manta, Black Spider, Brimstone, Catman, Cheetah, Copperhead, Deadshot, Despero, Giganta, King Shark, Lady Shiva, Mongul, Nightshade, and Solomon Grundy). After some effort, most of the villains are defeated.

The remaining villains are defeated by Captain Atom, who has arrived with Lex's superhero team to arrest Superman. All but Power Girl, who's loyalties are divided, attempt to capture Superman and Batman. Superman grows weary and creates a tornado to disable their attackers, grabbing Power Girl in the process.

Power Girl admits that she feels threatened by Lex, and doesn't believe Superman killed Metallo. Lex's superheroes catch up and the fight begins again, this time with Power Girl aiding Superman and Batman. Batman deduces that it was Major Force who killed Metallo, and goads him into admitting it. In anger, Power Girl punches him in the stomach with so much force that it ruptures his power core, starting a critical nuclear reaction. Captain Atom, ashamed at his complicity in Lex's misdeeds, absorbs the energy, disintegrating Major Force and badly injuring himself in the process.

Meanwhile, Lex's plan to stop the meteor fails, and he loses his mind. Lex now intends to let the meteor hit, and in the wake of the devastation he will build a new world from the ashes. Batman and Superman have their own plans to stop it, but have to break into Lex's lab to get the data on the meteor's radiation. They end up in battle with Captain Marvel and Hawkman along the way, eventually emerging victorious with Power Girl's aid. Though Lex is unwilling to relinquish the data, Amanda Waller gives them a copy. While Batman and Superman fly off to Tokyo to meet with Power Girl and their contact Hiro Okamura (the Japanese Toyman), Waller tries to have Lex arrested. Lex injects himself with a liquid kryptonite steroid and puts on a power suit to do away with the military and fly after the two.

Toyman has built a rocket to stop the meteor, the appearance of which is that of a giant, robotic Composite Superman. Lex arrives to stop the launch and kill Superman, disabling the remote guidance systems. Batman volunteers to fly it himself, despite Superman's protests. Though initially fairing poorly against Lex, Superman flies into a rage after seeing his best friend sacrifice himself, easily tearing apart Lex's suit. Batman, meanwhile, succeeds in destroying the meteor, surviving thanks to a small lifeboat built into the rocket. Superman carries the craft back to Earth.

Captain Atom's team arrives and apprehends Lex Luthor. As the sun rises, Superman invites Batman to come with him and Lois Lane, but he says it's getting late and disappears before Superman can protest. The movie ends with Lois embracing her husband in the midst of a cheering United States.

Ferngully is a rain-forest, it is home to a race of fairies who have never seen humans and believe Humans don't exist and only exists in stories. That is until the arrival of Batty, a wacky bat who tells the Fairies that he has seen the Humans. Curious, when she sees smoke from Mount Warning, a fairy named Crysta travels beyond Ferngully and discovers a group of humans is destroying the rain-forest. The story begins in 1957 in the star-filled skies above California's Mojave Desert. It is a special night for noted astronomer Ted Lewis, who is preparing a special dinner for his beautiful, adoring wife Lana to celebrate their wedding anniversary. In another part of town, Tammy, a waitress at small local diner with big plans for the future, looks out her window and is excited to see a shooting star, which she takes as a good sign for her dreams. But, what Dr. Lewis and Tammy assume is a shooting star, is really an alien spaceship. The fiery ball hurtles toward earth and crash-lands on a butte in the desert. The only witnesses are teens Dick and Penny who are necking in a nearby lover's lane. A tall, metallic alien named Urp emerges from the craft unharmed, alarmed to discover that the monstrous Ghota, who was also on board, has escaped. The menacing one-eyed creature's unquenchable appetite could mean the end of civilization as we know it. Urp is the only one who knows how to stop the hideous extra-terrestrial, but to do so he has to take over the body of Dr. Lewis and enlist the aid of Tammy, the only human in town willing to believe and trust in his mission. The local police - including Chief Dawson and Officer Vern - are confirmed skeptics and offer little help. Together, Urp and Tammy must hunt down the Ghota and neutralize it before it consumes all the local inhabitants and uses the human fuel to multiply and conquer the world!

Sam Bell has a three year contract to work for Lunar Industries. For the contract's entire duration, he is the sole employee based at their lunar station. His primary job responsibility is to harvest and periodically rocket back to Earth supplies of helium-3, the current clean and abundant fuel used on Earth. There is no direct communication link available between the lunar station and Earth, so his only direct real-time interaction is with GERTY, the intelligent computer whose function is to attend to his day to day needs. With such little human contact and all of it indirect, he feels that three years is far too long to be so isolated; he knows he is beginning to hallucinate as the end of his three years approaches. All he wants is to return to Earth to be with his wife Tess and their infant daughter Eve, who was born just prior to his leaving for this job. With two weeks to go, he gets into an accident at one of the mechanical harvesters and is rendered unconscious. Injured, he awakens back at the station in the infirmary, he assumes assisted by GERTY. GERTY tells him that a rescue team named Eliza will come to the station to clean up the aftermath of the accident. After his recuperation, he takes an unauthorized trip back to the broken harvester, where he makes an unexpected discovery. Because of his find, he begins to doubt his sanity, then his true identity, then the company and GERTY's willingness to do what is best for him. Because of his resulting beliefs, his sole mission becomes how to get back to Earth on his own.

I have to say this movie delivered the goods as promised. It had plenty of gore and scary moments. It also had some nice suspense too. I liked the first one. I liked the second one more. The this installment looks as if the whole budget was spent on the gore and the effects. This was a nice change since some crappy direct to video films like the Boogeyman series worry too much on the actors and the story line versus the gore and violence we want.I've never been so glad to see a good looking chick die like in the first few minutes of the film. I'm sure the chick did not really talk like that, but it was nice to start off the film with a bang. Three years after being kicked out of the science department for his theory of Time warps, and his attempt on Matt Lauer's life, Rick Marshall is reduced to working as a teacher at the George C. Page Museum until he meets Holly Cantrell whose finding urges him to create a tachyon amplifier to enable time warp travel. They go to the Devils Cave attraction where the finding was found, hiring its tour guide Will Stanton. But once they've activated the tachyon amplifier, losing it in the process, the three end up in a parallel universe where all timelines converge. They soon meet some ape men, Pakuni, two of whom were going to kill the younger one, when Stanton unintentionally gives the other two the secret of fire as they run off. The gang then proceed to help the other one, named Cha-Ka, until he runs off with them in pursuit.

Once catching up to Cha-Ka, they are trapped by a tree which turns out to be a dinosaur feeding site, being attacked by a Tyrannosaurus. The T. rex chases them until they come to a small land bridge. Marshall is convinced they are safe as he explains how a T. rex has a walnut-sized brain, and is incapable of judging depth and distance. Hearing this as he stalks away, the T. rex stops in his tracks, turns, and runs full speed to jump across the chasm. Chasing them until they reach a crevice in a cave, it gives up, though still wanting to eat Marshall. Holly, knowing the dinosaur's attitude, gives him the name "Grumpy". Though Marshall didn't believe it to be possible, Grumpy's vendetta becomes more apparent when he leaves a gify, beach-ball sized walnut, gift-wrapped.

The next day, Cha-Ka brings fruit full of spiders. Rick pours dinosaur urine all over himself as a way to masks his scent from "Grumpy" he then has visions about a strange creature begging for his help, running out into the Lost City. The others follow as Cha-Ka gets agitated and attempts to tell them they should leave as they are attacked by the slow yet deadly Sleestaks. But when the Pylon opens, Marshall and company enter, meeting the creature who contacted them, Enik. Enik tells them that the evil Zarn is out to control the universe and needs the tachyon amplifier.

In spite of Will's feelings, Marshall offers his aid as Cha-Ka takes the group through the jungle and onto a salt flat landscape that is a feeding site for Compsognathus and Velociraptors, who proceed to tear an ice cream man to pieces until Grumpy comes and scares them off. However, a female Allosaurus arrives as well. The two territorial predators prepare to fight when the both of them catch Marshall's urine-drenched scent and chase after him. Though managing to outsmart Grumpy, Marshall runs from "Big Alice", the Allosaurus, until he reaches Holly and Will, using the tank of liquid nitrogen to freeze the Allosaur before she explodes with the tachyon amplifier among her remains. After that, a Pteranodon steals their time machine.

Though down in the dumps, Marshall regains his confidence as he attempts to apologize to his friends in song (The theme song to the original TV series) while unknowingly attacked by a giant mosquito. After managing to get the tachyon amplifier back from a nest of pterosaurs, they return to a motel back in the salt flat. While Marshall, Will and Cha-Ka laze in the pool, Holly goes, finding a Pylon. Inside, she finds dinosaur eggs lodged in dinosaur feces, taking one out before she find a holographic message from the Zarn, learning that Enik is the real villain and being taken by a Sleestak to stand trial for aiding him.

Meanwhile, after eating a Giant Crab, which killed itself by stepping on a geyser while advancing on them, the three realize Holly's missing and go find her. They meet two mating Sleestaks, that shed their skin, which Marshall and Will use to disguise themselves while Cha-Ka goes to get Enik. Arriving to Holly's aid as she is condemned to death by the Library of Skulls, Marshall and Will learn that Enik was the one who wiped out the Altrusians while confirming Will's feelings about the villain's tunic. After saving Holly, the gang confront Enik and his Sleestak slaves, taking the tachyon amplifier while revealing his plans on using the Sleestaks to overpopulate the worlds. He then leaves Marshall and company to their fate as Grumpy arrives to get his revenge.

Seeing no other way, Marshall takes on Grumpy one-on-one, ending with Marshall vaulting into the dinosaur's mouth. Though Holly chides him for it, Grumpy shrugs her off and leaves as she and Will attempt to fight off the numerous Sleestaks. However, after being excreted out while taking out some intestinal trouble, Marshall and a "less grumpy" Grumpy make their peace as they arrive to kill most of the Sleestaks. Entering the Pylon, Marshall and company manage to destroy the crystal shard that powers it, with Will choosing to stay with Cha-Ka in the Land of the Lost while holding Enik off so Marshall and Holly can return home. Will takes advantage of his new life by meeting Cha-Ka's harem which he was told earlier by Cha-Ka that they were ugly only to find them to be very hot Caribbean tanned women wearing only a loincloth. He almost immediately get surrounded by half a dozen women who start rubbing him all over. He responds to this by saying " I made the right choice."

Back on Earth, Matt Lauer reluctantly gives a second interview with Marshall this time proven right and proceeds to rub it in Matt Lauer's face by bringing a dinosaur egg back and giving him a signed copy of his new book. But after being forced to show off the title of Marshall's new book, ''Matt Lauer Can Suck It'', history repeats itself with Matt trying to kill Marshall. Soon after the show ended, unaware of what Marshall and she left behind on the set, the dinosaur egg Holly found hatches into a baby Sleestak

During World War II, a Jewish woman (Bisset) saves her life thanks to a love affair with a doctor in charge of human experiments in a Nazi concentration camp. The woman then marries and moves to New York, where she raises two emotionally stunted sons. The eldest son (Lucas) battles his sense of disconnection from life while working at a scam modeling agency, where he befriends a charming young co-worker (Brody) who begins to restore in him a sense of excitement and purpose. The neurotic younger son (Haas) is locked in a compulsive, co-dependent relationship with his mother.

Danny Dyer stars in this, the prequel to crime drama Jack Says. Simon Phillips, Stander's David O'Hara and snooker ace Jimmy White are also on board for this British Sin City wannabe

It's easy to forget Danny Dyer's amongst the finest actors of his generation. In between his terrible TV series and his less intelligent film choices, this proud son of Canning Town has shown flashes of brilliance in projects as diverse as Borstal Boy and Severance. And even when the pictures aren't so good, the Outlaw star always gives his all.

Jack Said, the prequel to the little-seen 2008 drama Jack Says is another okay film enlivened by a typically spirited Dyer performance. Adapted from a Paul Tanter graphic novel, directors Lee Basannavar and Michael Tchoubouroff use the comic-book origins and the noir-ish subject matter as an excuse to make a movie akin to Robert Rodriguez's Sin City. The problems being that i) Tanter is no Frank Miller; ii) Basannavar and Tchoubouroff can't rival Rodriguez for vision, energy and invention; and iii) £650,000 will never go as far as $40m.
